The University of Tennessee was founded nearly 220 years ago on September 10th, 1794, with the primary mission to move forward the frontiers of human knowledge and enrich and elevate the citizens of the state of Tennessee, the nation, and the world. In honor of this historic day in the university's history, the Center for Leadership & Service in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development will be hosting a "UT Founder's Day of Service." On Saturday, September 13th from 8:00-10:00am join fellow UT students and young alumni for a campus clean-up. Space is limited, so register early! Additional details and information including check-in location will be sent along to participants before the event.
