Dr. Kai Sun, an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee will present at CURENT's January 2014 Seminar Series.

The presentation will introduce application of decision tree based data mining techniques for power system stability and control and review related previous works. The speaker will then present a new decision tree (DT)-based systematic approach for cooperative online power system dynamic security assessment (DSA) and preventive control.
