TITLE: "A nonlocal Vector Calculus and Nonlocal Balance Laws"
ABSTRACT: My presentation introduces a vector calculus for nonlocal operators and nonlocal balance laws. The operators of the nonlocal calculus are used to define volume-constrained problems that are analogous to elliptic boundary-value problems. This allows us to express the equations of peridynamic mechanics and nonlocal diffusion in terms of the nonlocal vector calculus and demonstrate that various volume-constrained linear problems are well-posed.
