Harvey Milk Day Celebration

Thursday, 22 May, 2014

Join us in celebrating Harvey Milk's Birthday and the historic release of his forever stamp. We will watch "Life of Harvey Milk" or try to catch President Obama commemorating the stamp on CSPAN, catch up with friends, and have--what else, birthday cake! Bring your own lunch and we will provide water/soft drinks.

Harvey Milk became one of the first openly gay officials in the United States in 1977, when he was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Tragically, he was killed the following year.
