Event Exception Requests

The safety of our campus community is a top priority for our university. To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure to our campus, we are requesting that all campus units interested in hosting an event with more than 50 people submit an exception request before moving forward with any plans. Your participation in this process is important to help us take precautionary measures to protect the campus.

In order to effectively plan for a large event, it is important to utilize CDC guidelines for planning large events and consider mitigation elements. Appropriate plans for social distancing and other protective measures will be required as part of this Event Exception Request process. 

By completing this form, you will not need to submit an additional request in Ad Astra. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance. Campus Event Services will contact you once your event has been approved or denied.
