Talk on Mission to Mars

Thursday, 12 October, 2017

Is human life on Mars possible? Gain some perspective when UT alum Jay Bevington, BESS 2011, discusses his experience living for six-months in conditions that simulate life on Mars. The mission took place in the HI-SEAS program, and Bevington was named crew commander. The effort has been chronicled by the New York Times in its 360 video series.

Bevington's talk takes place on October 12 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Location is 160 Plant Biotechnology Building on the UT agricultural campus. The talk is presented by the UT chapter of the American Society of Agriculture and Biological Engineers. Refreshments will be provided.
