Blackout Poetry

Wednesday, 13 September, 2017

On Wednesday, September 13th, there will be a “Blackout Poetry” event at the Golden Roast Café near campus, from 7 to 8pm. Blackout Poetry is created by keeping select words from an existing text, such as a newspaper, and “blacking out” the other words on the page.  People from all walks of life can come together and get their creative nature on through writing and reading poetry, or just relax and listen to others share their creativity.
