For the 1 5K

Saturday, 25 March, 2017

The Bachelor’s Social Work Organization is hosting a 5k on the University of Tennessee campus.

Conceptualized and organized by students, this advocacy run is designed to create conversation; conversations that will give voices to victims. Four specific issues have each been assigned a color and host organization to allocate portions of the
profits to. Come decked out in the advocacy color(s) you would like to represent!

This event is more than running towards a finish line; it is a race to shine a light and speak up for the person in the statistics--for the one.

  • Lime Green represents mental illness. Donations for this cause will be made to Helen Ross McNabb.
  • Purple represents domestic violence. Donations for this cause will be made to the YWCA.
