As a prelude to its Surrealist Symposium on Monday, April 7, the UT Creative Writing Program is organizing a three-day Surrealist Film Fest from April 4-6, featuring a wide range of films, from pioneering short films, animated and hard-to-find foreign films, and contemporary classics.
Films on Friday, April 4:
4:30: Two short films: Un Chien Andalou (1929) & Meshes of the Afternoon (1943)
5:20: Last Year at Marienbad (1961)
7:10: The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972)
