Surrealist Film Fest

As a prelude to its Surrealist Symposium on Monday, April 7, the UT Creative Writing Program is organizing a three-day Surrealist Film Fest from April 4-6, featuring a wide range of films, from pioneering short films, animated and hard-to-find foreign films, and contemporary classics.

Films on Friday, April 4:

4:30: Two short films: Un Chien Andalou (1929) & Meshes of the Afternoon (1943)

5:20: Last Year at Marienbad (1961)

7:10: The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972)

The event is sponsored by the UT Creative Writing Program in association with the John C. Hodges Better English Fund, the UT Office of Research and Engagement, and University Libraries.
