UT's Retail, Hospitality, and Tourism Management department is holding the annual Appalachian Spring banquet fundraiser on Saturday, March 29th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It will be a very special evening as we celebrate the 12th annual gourmet dinner and auction. The fundraiser is now fully incorporated into hospitality and retail courses and is an important experiential learning opportunity for the students. We will showcase and celebrate the resources, creativity, and entrepreneurship of our region in our auction items and dinner. Last year's event garnered a net profit of over $40,000. Each ticket is $150 per person for an exciting auction and an outstanding menu inspired by Tennessee locally grown products. All of these proceeds go directly to supporting the student experiences in our programs, such as field trips, study tours, internships, industry shows, and leadership training.
