TITLE: On W^{1,p} estimates of solutions of nonlinear parabolic equations and global existence of smooth solution of system of cross-diffusion equations.

ABSTRACT: We review some classical theory on the W^{1,p}-estimates of Calderon-Zygmund type. Then, I will outline my new results on the global W^{1,p}-estimates of a class of nonlinear parabolic equations with nonlinear diffusion and nonlinear reaction terms. The results will be applied to prove the global time existence of smooth solution to the SKT system of nonlinear parabolic equations with cross-diffusion in spatial domains of any dimension.

The talk is based on the paper posted at http://arxiv.org/abs/1311.6828 which is joint work with L. Hoang (Texas Tech) and T. Nguyen (Akron University).
