Wednesday, 20 November, 2013

Not My Life is a documentary that explores human trafficking in the modern world, from Southeast Asia to the southern United States. The film crosses six continents as delves into the conditions that cause victims to fall prey to traffickers and exposes how many crimes go unnoticed or unpunished.  After the film, which lasts approximately ninety minutes, there will be a short discussion of the underlying themes in the film and what might be done in the future to end the practice of human trafficking. This event is organized by the freshman class of Haslam scholars.
