Jess Walter's most recent novel, the New York Times-bestseller Beautiful Ruins, has been hailed by critics and loved by readers of literary and historical fiction. Beautiful Ruins is the story of an almost-love affair that begins on the Italian coast in 1962 and is rekindled in Hollywood fifty years later. He is a former National Book Award finalist and winner of the Edgar Allan Poe Award and the LA Times Book Prize. His work has been translated into more than 20 languages.
