Fundraiser for UT Small Animal Oncology Service

Saturday, 04 May, 2013

The Rico Stache Bash is a mustache and beard competition to raise money for the Small Animal Oncology Service at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. This event, now in its 8th year, was created by Dave Kirkendol who wanted to repay the department for being so good to him when he lost his dog, Rico, to cancer.

This year's event is May 4th and will be held at Barley's Taproom and Pizzeria. The event has door prizes, a silent auction and of course the contest itself which includes various categories of facial hair (including "best place to hide a critter" and "welcome to puberty.")  Official Rico Stache Bash merchandise will be available. $3 donation at the door is requested. Our goal this year is $8,000.
