'Lessons from a Life in Foreign Service'

Ambassador Staples will share his experiences serving, working, and living abroad with the Foreign Service.  He served 27 years as a Foreign Service Officer, including an Ambassador to the Republics of Rwanda, Cameroon, and Equatorial Guinea. He worked as the Diplomatic Advisor and senior U.S. civilian aide in NATO, and his final State Department position was the Director General of the Foreign Services.
