China Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections

The University of Tennessee will participate in the sixth annual CHINA Town Hall: National Reflections, Local Connections, featuring a live webcast and Q&A with U.S. Ambassador to China Gary Locke and an on-site talk by Robert Daly, Director of The Maryland China Initiative at the University of Maryland.  This event is organized nationally by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR) and locally by the Asian Studies program at UT.

 Mr. Daly will speak on U.S.-China interactions in higher education.  Ambassador Locke will deliver a special address to be broadcast live to audiences in 60 cities and towns across the United States and then respond to questions from audience members nationwide, moderated by Stephen Orlins, president of NCUSCR.
