Lecture: From Zen Art to Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

As part of our programming for our new exhibition, Zen Buddhism and the Arts of Japan (September 15, 2012 December 31, 2012), the Frank H. McClung Museum will host Megan Bryson of the University's Religious Studies Department to give a lecture on Zen Buddhism.

Megan Bryson studies Chinese religions, with an emphasis on Buddhism and local religion in Southwest China. Her research interests include issues of ethnicity and gender in Chinese religions, women in Buddhism, and Buddhist ritual.

The event will take place in the McClung Museum Auditorium.
