Lecture and Reception | College of Architecture and Design

Nationally and internationally recognized architects, designers, historians and theorists will present their work this semester at the UT College of Architecture and Design as part of the Robert B. Church III Memorial Lecture Series.

October 22: "Architecture/Structure – The Art and Science of Building Design" by John Zils, FAIA. An architect, engineer, and former associate partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP in Chicago, Zils has worked on many of SOM's most iconic projects including the Hajj Terminal in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, a project that was recently honored with the Twenty-Five Year Award from the American Institute of Architects.
